We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer, Egypt who will provide remote and on-site professional services to ISS customers, including technical support, system deployment and configuration, conducting trainings, presentations and demos to end users.
Job Description
- Perform technical support, installation, configuration, assessment, and maintenance of ISS systems remotely and on customer premises
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for ISS customers
- Conduct proof of concept systems installation in end-to-end manner
- Provide support to sales team in system design and pre-sales activities
- Communicate through appropriate channels RnD related matters
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with new and existing customers
- Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of ISS products
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues
- Provide reporting through project management platforms and to end users if required
- Conduct trainings, demos and presentations
- Being able to communicate Egypt market needs and trends to upper management
- Assistance on installation of hardware products and troubleshooting of them in case of a maintenance
About You
General Criteria
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, or any technical related filed
- Experience in customer service, technical support, and/or project management
- Knowledge of networking principles and IP protocols
- Proactive attitude, able to multitask and an ability to manage time along with priorities
- Strong analytical skills with a desire to constantly learn and evolve at the same pace as the software
- Strong team player while possessing the autonomy to manage your own workload
- Excellent communication skills with a professional level of English and Arabic
- Driving license
- Candidate must be based in Egypt
- Nationality Egyptian
Technical Assets
- Deployment and troubleshooting of security systems such as:
· CCTV (IP cameras and encoders, video matrices, DVRs, etc.).
· Access control systems (reader, controller, wiring, etc.)
· VMS,Video analytics systems and concepts - MCSE, CCNA, SQL Server, VMware, or similar technical professional certifications
- NodeJS, VBJscript , or similar technologies
- Experience working with hardware including basic electrical engineering skills
