An intelligent system for escorting pedestrians by dynamic illumination to prevent traffic accidents involving people at crosswalks

The SecurOS® Soffit draws the attention of drivers to pedestrians by escorting them with dynamic LED illumination along the crosswalk. The dynamic illumination significantly increases the speed of drivers’ visual-motor response, so they will have the ability to brake in time to avoid accidents. The use of SecurOS® Soffit provides a significant increase in road safety and reduces the overall number of pedestrian accidents and fatalities.
