Specifically, the integration between SecurOS® and the Bosch Access Management System (AMS) means that access control data from AMS can be seamlessly transferred to the SecurOS® ACS module, providing organizations with full situational awareness and control. This enables operators to view and manage live access control events and device states directly within the SecurOS® ACS graphical user interface (GUI), such as opening and closing doors or viewing alarm events like ‘held open door’ or ‘unauthorized opening.’
Among the other key features provided by the integration include:
- Link and control access control devices from the SecurOS® GIS (Geographic Information System) module, which enables users to visualize and operate physical security devices across a network. When leveraging the GIS module, users can easily navigate to devices, such as card readers, on a map while simultaneously viewing their status, device ID, geographical coordinates, and more.
- Configure alarms and operator response based on access events and state changes.
- AMS coordinates the activities of all access control hardware and software.
- Secure, encrypted Access Management Database stores all access control master data.
